SUDDS Assessment Interface
As part of the SUDSS group, Basia led the UX/UI and visual design process for the assessment interface within the SUDDS learning map. Based on assessment scenarios and requirements provided by the group’s measurements and learning science teams, Basia together with the psychometrician, Dr. Garron Gianopulos, wrote user stories for middle school math students’ use. Once the user stories were refined through group discussions and brainstorming, Basia wireframed the assessment interface, delivered user interface and visual design, and coded HTML/CSS prototypes. Upon deployment as part of the learning map application, the assessment user interface was tested with student users, and aspects of the interface were adjusted based on the analysis of the video recordings of the usability testing sessions.
